Okikiola is an ecologist who uses earth observation data to develop metrics (models, indices, maps) that inform conservation strategies for mitigating the impacts of disturbances (such as climate change, land use change, invasive species, outbreaks of insects, and diseases) on ecosystem biodiversity.
I'm a Ph.D. student in the Forest Ecosystem Dynamics Lab at the School of Environment (SOE), Washington State University. I work as a graduate research assistant/remote sensing Ph.D. student on a collaborative project funded by NASA.
