I am an ecologist who uses earth observation data to develop metrics (models, indices, maps) that inform conservation strategies to mitigate the impacts of disturbances (such as climate change, land-use change, wildfire, invasive species, insect and disease outbreaks) on ecosystem biodiversity.
I have over 10 years of experience leading multi-scale forest mapping, drone-based monitoring, and spatial analytics for sustainable forest and habitat conservation.
Currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Forest Ecosystem Dynamics Lab at the School of Environment (SOE), Washington State University. I work as a research assistant and Ph.D. student in remote sensing on a NASA-funded collaborative project.
